Medical and Health Care

The Indonesian medical and health care law encompasses a wide range of issues. Medical and health care law is one of the primary practices for our firm and we are common to liaise with the Ministry of Health of Indonesia ("MoH") which is the primary Government Agency is responsible for legal aspects of Indonesian health care systems, and also the National Agency of Drug and Food Control of Indonesia ("NADFC") that responsible for controls regulations surrounding food health safety and pharmaceutical issues. 

In Indonesia, the various regional local Government in Indonesia establish their own regulations applicable to medical and health care guidelines and other factors that impact interaction among health care providers, third-party payors (insurance companies and managed-care groups), and patients.

During this COVID-19 Pandemic, our attorneys have represented and helped medical stakeholders in a wide variety of health care providers including hospitals, health systems, group medical practices, individual physicians, health maintenance organizations, and long-term care providers. Recently, with regards to COVID-19, we assist the hospitals and health care facilities regarding the establishment of the COVID-19 laboratory.
